Applications

Sealing
All forms of sealing in all types of media, with an emphasis on sealing automotive drivelines and various items in plumbing and heating. These include conventional gaskets of rubber and metal, as well as new solutions developed by Nolato Lövepac, including, for example, those using combinations of tape and other materials.

Protection and masking
Sometimes surfaces must be protected against abrasion and other forms of mechanical damage, sunlight, moisture, heat, cold, corroding, or require masking during painting and blast cleaning.

Insulation
We have material for most types of insulation in electrical and electronic applications, approved by UL and the U.S. Armed Forces, for example.

Damping
Our product range includes various types of acoustic and vibration-damping material. In most cases, our carefully tailored solutions provide the best results.

Joining
Various forms of tape are our most common material in this area, and can often replace screws, welding and riveting. Using tape in joining has the advantage of requiring less subsequent processing than in the case of welding, for example. Tape can also provide not only joining, but sealing, damping of vibrations. In addition, the joint is not visible.

Friction
Sometimes we want to increase friction, while at other times, we prefer to decrease it. We have materials for both of these preferences.

Spacers
Sometimes a space must be filled. The reason for this may be a desire to increase a structure’s stability, or to provide support for screws.

Assembly assistance
Sometimes, a third hand is needed during an assembly step. We have many solutions that replace that extra hand. Examples include tape that temporarily holds a part or a metal gasket designed to be clamped onto the surface to be sealed.
