Our EMC tech center

Our technical center in Sweden Hallsberg is our base in advancing in the field of EMC and electromagnetic interference technologies for continuous product and production development. It is here that we develop and refine our unique electrically conductive silicon rubber, as well as explore, seek and define the most cost-effective production methods based on market demand, existing production resources, differing types of silicon mixture and more.

With our team’s collective drive and ambition to lead Nolato in this fascinating technology, we invest in the continuous development of material mixtures and methods suitable for large-scale production processes. It is at this same location where we also test and perform extensive measurements for quality control.

For our customers we perform testing at our in-house lab including:

  • Average shielding effect (0,3-50Ghz)
  • Compression force
  • Compression set
  • Electrical resistance
  • Adhesion
  • Density
  • Hardness
  • Tensile strength and elongation at break
  • Tear strength
  • Viscosity
  • Compression modulus
  • Flammability
  • Volume resistivity
  • Dimensional measurement
  • Accelerated aging (85°C/85%RH for 1000h and 125° C for 1000h), a prediction of life time shielding performance
