Process Technician

Come join Nolato Contour's team as a process technician! You will be primarily responsible for using established production procedures, tools, and equipment to set up production work cells and molds in various molding machines.

 What will your day look like?

  • Using precise processes and tools to set-up molds in a variety of machines. Without your high standards in setting up our molds, our machines won’t run correctly or efficiently.
  • Using our software to view job requirements, print work orders, and view the production schedule
  • Learning the molding cycle to the points where it’s memorized.
  • Following and applying all safety rules. We want you to be safe!
  • Troubleshooting basic equipment failures
  • Performing Water Main Shutoff and Electrical Power Down/Power Up procedures when needed
  • Performing preventive maintenance on the molds.
  • Preparing equipment for upcoming work orders
  • Responding to machine alarms in a timely manner
  • Reporting any irregularities (such as high scrap rates) to the Team Lead or Lead Tech
 

Qualifications:

*required

  • High school diploma or equivalent*
  • Basic communication and mathematical skills*
  • Nice to have: Training or education in fields such as hydraulics, electronics, or mechanics, six months of experience in the plastics industry, prior experience in an FDA or ISO environment

 

Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts from either 7:00 AM-7:30 PM or 7:00 PM-7:30 AM                                                                 12-hour shifts are on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule; 2 days working, 2 days off, 3 days working. Work 3 days one week and 4 days next week – have every other weekend off!
