This Marketing Coordinator position is responsible for leading Nolato’s marketing efforts in North America, with an objective of developing, and expanding our customer base and market share.

Our Marketing Coordinator position is responsible for supporting Nolato’s marketing efforts in North America, with an objective of developing, and expanding our customer base and market share.

As a thriving manufacturer in the booming medical device industry—with locations around the globe and bold plans for growth—this role requires the ability to collaboratively develop and implement a Strategic Marketing Plan, a working knowledge of content creation/graphic design and experience with relevant channels to distribute to material to our existing and prospective customers.

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you’ll have primary day-to-day accountability for planning, implementing, managing all Marketing activity for our sites in North America. From routine social media posts to the development of advertisements, video content, printed collateral and corporate branding — that’s you!

Beyond these activities, you will be a key team member in support of trade show planning, evaluating market trends impacting our business and will interface regularly with Corporate Marketing in Sweden to ensure consistent messaging. In addition, you will also meet regularly with site Managing Directors and HR in North America in support of local marketing and recruiting initiatives, employee relations and community awareness/outreach. The ability and willingness to travel overnight is anticipated up to 20% of your time.

From your first day on the job, you must be ready to provide impactful Marketing support. A proven history of experience in Sales or Marketing is required – preferably in injection molding, medical device or drug delivery manufacturing. A working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce), automated Marketing platforms (HubSpot), Google Analytics and other functions such as SEO optimization and graphic design, is helpful, too.

 Collaborate with Nolato North America marketing and sales leadership to develop an annual marketing plan and budget in support of regional as well as local site strategic sales plans. This marketing plan should be focused on growth of our thermoplastic, LSR and contract manufacturing business in the Medical Device, Diagnostics and Pharmaceutical Drug Delivery market. This plan may also include additional markets such as Filtration, Consumer Products and Industrial Products if required by site specific sales plans.
 Identify, create and maintain all marketing content/collateral as required to ensure effective customer communication and consistent messaging and branding. o Corporate and site-specific video content including case studies. o Nolato North American website pages o Digital and printed collateral o Press releases, technical/white papers and articles, case studies, direct mailings and e-mailings o Corporate presentations, branding, logos, templates and other tools/documents
 Evaluate market information, trends, and needs to develop successful marketing strategies. Meet regularly with site leadership, industry and trade associations to gain insight, and market knowledge to effectively position Nolato as a market leader.
 Support Nolato’s Business Development team by assisting with proposal creation. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement best practices, leverage learning, and develop robust shared solutions.
 Report customer/prospect website activity on a bi-weekly basis and implement appropriate actions needed to ensure customer capture. This may include initiating contact to determine which opportunities are in alignment with the business plan, identifying product and process capability extensions and develop effective capture strategies with the Business Development Team.
 Collaborate with Corporate Marketing in Sweden on search engine optimization (SEO) effort.
 In collaboration with the Business Development team, develop annual tradeshow and on-site, direct marketing plan. Coordinate, develop and maintain tradeshow booth and other hard and soft materials in support of these activities.
 Consult and coordinate with Business Development team, corporate management and plant personnel to ensure a consistent and timely response to customer Requests for Information (RFI’s).
 Monitor customer, competitor and industry innovator marketing tools for leading edge ideas, concepts and tools.
 Report to Business Development and other team members about significant, relevant customer, competitive and industry trends and developments.
 Support Business Development team by assisting with customer visit preparation, this may also include responding to customer inquiries, and providing specific technical or sales presentation support.
 Develop, conduct, direct, and analyze market research with the intent to identify needs which drive differentiation while providing customer value and solutions. Collect, assess and develop competitive information gathered from the field, Business Development team members, and other sources as identified.

 Bachelor or Associates Degree required.
 3 years of marketing and/or sales experience. Custom injection molding and contract manufacturing experience a plus.
 Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans.
 Effectively plan, organize, and manage resources, cost and timing to meet aggressive goals and objectives.
 Ability to multi-task, prioritize and appropriately judge when and where resources should be used, negotiate for resources and timing with internal and external stakeholders, and satisfy multiple, often competing and shifting, priorities.
 Strong leadership and team-building skills with the proven ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally with customers, executives, peers, vendors and team members.
 Persuasive communicator with excellent written and verbal presentation skills. Professional appearance, oral and written communication delivery, behavior and attitude that is consistent with customer expectations and reflects the integrity, beliefs and principles of Nolato.
 Ability to develop mutually beneficial media relationship. Broad public relations experience including messaging, public speaking, press releases and content development/management.
 Experience creating focused and innovative product and company marketing content/collateral (website, printed and digital collateral, press releases, technical/white papers and articles, case studies, direct mailings and e-mailings, corporate presentations, logos, templates and pro forma, etc.)
 Open minded, entrepreneurial, and creative problem solver in complex situations. Able to show good judgment, adapt quickly, and prioritize within a high-growth environment characterized by innovation, ambiguity and rapid change.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe suites software and working familiarity with Salesforce (CRM).
 Experience leveraging the latest digital marketing channels, search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO). Working knowledge and proficiency in web publishing software desirable.
 Strong fact-finding skills, internet data-mining capabilities, and experience using various market research techniques and sources to obtain and analyze relevant information and identify market trends, quantify potential sales, and perform competitive analysis
 Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time with overnight travel as needed
