Director of Finance

JOB TITLE:       Director of Finance

DEPARTMENT: Finance – Accounting and Finance

REPORTS TO:  Executive Vice President and CFO

 

SUMMARY:

The Director of Finance is responsible for all Company financial accounting, reporting, and treasury management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare monthly and annual consolidated financial statements.
Review and establish accounting policies, as required.
Coordinate continuous improvements of finance systems.
Manage accounting of Tooling sales, costs and inventory; determine timing of revenue recognition.
Manage timely and efficient Treasury operations (i.e. Accounts Receivable and Payable).
Maintain reconciliations of all bank accounts, subsidiary ledgers, and balance sheet accounts.
Fixed asset accounting.
Coordinate all annual audit requirements and scheduling.
Oversee payroll and use tax filings.
Oversee and coordinate accounting at plants.
Comply with government filing requirements.
Manage, develop and train department personnel.
Perform other duties as required or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MBA, CPA or CMA.
Five years relevant experience.
Exceptional problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to prioritize and manage diverse responsibilities.
Strong organizational skills and systems-oriented thinking.
Dependable with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
Proven leadership capability.
Strong communications skills.
Multi-currency and international accounting experience.
Some travel required.
