Quality Assurance Manager
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring that established quality parameters are adhered to in order to meet production needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform job start-up as necessary to support manufacturing.
Participate in the shift MRB Process.
Report any problems with the machine, mold, or part to the molding Technician or Supervisor immediately.
Lead Containment efforts.
Issue detailed reports to management, as required, such as containment reports, hold tickets, etc.
Maintain inspection records
Receiving inspection and required material testing.
Assist manufacturing by providing instruction and training in the use of; gaging techniques, interpretation of QAR’s and visual inspection for defects, to MQT’s and as needed.
Perform visual inspection, physical and dimensional inspections of parts on all designated processes as outlined in QAR for the QAT’s area of responsibility.
Verify that product is properly identified for inspection and test status.
Perform MQT task on production processes as assigned.
Follow and support the Quality System Procedures and Work Instructions.
Follow company safety rules and policies and maintain a clean working environment.
Perform miscellaneous duties such as assigned by the QA manager.
Other duties as assigned
Strive to be a contributive and supportive member of the plant operations and quality team, be a role model in upholding quality disciplines in all areas of your duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Computer literate.
Math aptitude, required.
Internal auditor
Internal auditor training.
Must be knowledgeable in gaging techniques, measurement methods, and equipment used.
Two years of Quality or Manufacturing experienced preferred
