Nolato MediTech develops and manufactures polymer products and systems in close cooperation with leading customers within medical technology and pharmaceuticals. We are a world leader in injection moulding of silicone and have extensive knowledge in injection moulding thermoplastic medical technology products, with special competence in 2K and 3K moulding. We also offer innovative solutions within decoration and assembly.

The engineering department includes tooling, industrial engineering and metrology and consists of 15 engineers. The Service and maintenance manager with its personnel is also a part of the technical department. The group’s main responsibilities is to support production with technical expertise and development, be part of project teams for new products and equipment and to set and validate new production processes.

Role responsibilities

As the Technical Director you are leading and developing our key resources in cross functional customer projects from design to industrialized production. Your team is the key partner for our operation to drive continuous improvement and develop our personnel in new and existing technology. You are responsible for the engineering teams: Tooling, Metrology and Industrial Engineering, at our sites in Lomma and Hörby, this position is based in Hörby. You report directly to Managing Director and are a member of Nolato MediTech management team.

Background

We are looking for an individual who is a well experienced leader and able to support and develop your team so they can fulfill their potential. You need to have a profound knowledge of manufacturing processes and project management. You need to be a good leader who can prioritize and run projects according to plan, easily collaborate, both internally and with the client's various representatives and can communicate with commercial- and technical terminology. We also wish that the person has a business understanding, quality awareness and drive.

To succeed in the job, we believe that you have the following background:

• Master degree or similar level in experience
• High level of technical competence
• Proven successful leadership managing technical teams
• Experience of managing product development and industrialization projects
• Good knowledge of high-volume production and automatization
• You are fluent in Swedish and English
• It is an advantage to have insight and understanding of the medical device industry regarding regulatory requirements, GMP, etc.
• It is also an advantage if you have experience of injection molding and polymer materials
• It is meritorious if you are certified in project management, for example PMI or similar
