JOB TITLE:  Production Operator
DEPARTMENT:   Injection Moulding
WORKING HOURS:  8-hour Shift work Monday to Friday (rotating day/ evening shift OR fixed Night shift)

CONTRACT:  6 Month Fixed term contract

Reporting to the Shift Lead, the Production operator is responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and packaging medical devices per work instructions using a variety of assembly equipment, fixtures, and test equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare product for shipment, including cleaning, limited inspecting, sterile and non- sterile packaging, and shipping newly manufactured parts.
• Perform detailed inspection on all parts counted, washed, and dried within the facility.
• Prioritise work orders with other colleagues to ensure production schedules are maintained.
• Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Complete scrap records, training records, and other documentation as required.
• Complete basic production, health, safety, and environmental hazard training courses as required.
• Communicate status of work and report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Production Manager.
• Other duties as assigned by the Shift Lead.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous Production Operations experience essential.
• Experience in Medical device/ Injection Moulding industry is desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential
• Strong attention to detail- Must be able to complete required documentation requirements accurately
• Able to learn multiple work instructions
• Team player, and ability to work on own initiative
