Technical Support Specialist

Come join Nolato Contour's team as a Technical Support Specialist! You will be primarily responsible for the overall function of Nolato's information system. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing technical support and systems administration for the LAN network and systems; for application installation and hardware/software maintenance; as well as troubleshooting PC and related peripheral equipment issues.

Nolato Contour specializes in injection molding and assembly of plastic and silicone for medical/pharma customers.

We have an immediate opening for a Technical Support Specialist.

  • Assist in the Install, configure, and support the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), VPN, Switches and Firewall
  • Maintain network, hardware and software.
  • Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
  • Responsible for telecommunications within the facility.
  • Determine user requirements and design specifications for computer hardware.
  • Update software applications.
  • Provide support for end users.
  • Deploy workstations, servers, printers, scanners, firewalls, encryption systems, and all host security systems.
  • Assist in the implementation of server/network upgrades and changes.
  • Document any changes within the infrastructure.
  • Must be able provide after-hours (on-call) support.
  • Support and comply with all ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14000 Policies, Procedures, SOP’s, Work Instructions as they apply to the job classification or specifically assigned job and complete as directed all required training related to these standards.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment keeping work areas free of clutter.


  • Associates degree in Information Technology or related field with at least one year of experience.
  • Working knowledge of computer/server installation, maintenance and repair, and user support - preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have extensive knowledge in Microsoft Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, GPO, and File/Print servers. 
  • Must be familiar with configuring Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and Windows 10.
  • Knowledge/experience in hardware/software installation and configuration (both servers and PCs) including imaging.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN/VPN administration.
  • Experience working with one or more security software packages, detecting and analyzing network risks.
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent computer skills, knowledgeable with Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain the data integrity in the organization's systems and strict confidentiality of information.
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 70 lbs. Reach around, bend down, and reach over and under equipment to install and maintain equipment.
  • Willingness and self-initiative to keep up with new developments in technology.
