Process Engineer

DEPARTMENT:

REPORTS TO:

Production Manager

DESCRIPTION:

The Process Engineer is responsible for establishing and maintaining process standards as established to support production needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in the Daily Production Team Meeting/MRB, CATS, APQP’s and Design Review.
• Establish and maintain process standards and associated documentation.
• Implement and maintain in house Mold Tech Training.
• Perform mold tests, DOE’s, screw analysis and process equipment improvement programs.
• Participate and coach various manufacturing teams in daily problem solving and continuous improvement techniques as it pertains to daily issues.
• Provide support to Engineering Department as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years previous technical experience in plastic injection molding.
• A 2-year degree or equivalent offsetting experience.
