Automation Engineer
Tucson Operations - Machine/ Facility Maintenance
Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Preventive and Corrective maintenance of complex Automation equipment (i.e. molding machine robotics, assembly equipment, End-of-Arm-Tooling, packaging and conveying equipment, vision inspection systems)
Preventive and Corrective maintenance of injection molding and support equipment
Record data electronically or manually (MS Office)
Design and build End-of-Arm-Tooling and simple automation fixtures
Vision system troubleshooting
Have the ability to analyze data to determine possible trouble areas
Execute and write FAT & SAT reports
Other tasks assigned by the Manufacturing Engineering/Manager (i.e. cleaning machines, screw and barrel maintenance, building maintenance etc.)
High School Diploma
Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology degree as a minimum
Mechanically inclined, self motivated
Electrical, hydraulic and mechanical knowledge of injection molding and assembly environments
PLC programming
Computer literate
AutoCAD proficient a plus
Automation
Basic machining skills
Ability to read and follow prints/schematics/ladder logic
Can work with minimal supervision, dependable
Minimum of 2 years experience in industrial mechanical or electrical field
Self-starter/ self motivated and able to work with a minimum amount of direct supervision
Must be able to read and interpret blue prints (Hydraulic, PLC and Electrical)
Mechanically inclined
Working knowledge of robotic automation, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
Must have a safety conscience work ethic
Able to work beyond scheduled hours and be on call status
Validation of automation assembly equipment a plus
Solid Works experience a plus
Able to travel up to 30% on occasion
