Silicone sponge extrusion

Nolato manufactures closed-cell silicone sponge extrusions for environmental sealing applications. Density can be selected to meet specific requirements for low-closure loads. We manufacture in accordance with AMS specifications.

Our product line includes extruded cords, square sections and rectangular sections in a wide range of sizes, as well as silicone sponge tubing for thermal insulation applications. We also produce custom shapes and can develop special compounds to meet specific requirements.

Quality control

Our quality control system is approved for ISO 9001. We manufacture to Mil, Federal, AMS, SAE, DEF-STAN, and many other US and European specifications. We maintain a meticulous program of quality control and inspection and are fully qualified to test and certify that our products meet critical specifications.

On-site facilities

Our manufacturing plant is equipped with facilities for tool design and manufacturing, product design and engineering. We support customer requirements using extrusion, molding and other production equipment, as well as for testing raw materials and finished products.

Materials

Our raw-materials inventory allows us to provide flexibility and agility to manufacture prototypes and provide competitive production run lead times. We have in-house capabilities to compound our own materials, design and produce our own dies and molds, and to produce the necessary components ourselves.
