Technical Development Strategist - NolatoSilikonteknik
What is your role at Nolato, and what do you find most exciting about your job?
My title is Technical Development Strategist. My role focuses on long-term technical development—whether it’s new products or new processes. What sets my position apart from my fantastic colleagues in the development team is that I keep my eyes on the horizon, trying to understand what will be technically required of our company in the future and how we can prepare for it.
What I find most exciting is exploring new technologies to see if—and how—they can benefit Nolato. I love watching things improve, and I’m fortunate to be in a role where that’s part of my daily work.
What are your biggest challenges, and how do you handle them?
Predicting what customers will want and need before they even realize it themselves is a major challenge. I stay on top of trends and actively listen to customers and colleagues across various roles to build a picture of where things are headed—and whether future needs might differ from what we’re currently working on.
What has been your most memorable experience during your time at Nolato?
My very first week at Nolato was “Sales Week,” when all the company’s salespeople gathered together with members from the project, development, and marketing teams. It gave me a great holistic view of the business since colleagues from different departments met and interacted. That experience really shaped my understanding of Nolato, and it still sticks with me.
What do you think makes Nolato stand out as an employer?
The range and balance: it’s a small, close-knit, family-like company that’s also high-tech and global.
If you were to describe Nolato in three words, what would they be?
Pragmatic, customer-oriented, family-like.
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of work that inspire you in your job?
I enjoy endurance sports like running and cycling. They require perseverance and grit—especially uphill. My job also requires stamina to see results, and sometimes you have to push a little harder when things don’t go as planned.
What advice would you give to someone considering a job at Nolato?
If you have an open mind and enjoy solving practical problems—go for it!
